Q: We want to relocate our machine overseas, can you help?
A: Most definitely! We have considerable experience in this area having relocated carousels to China, the USA and many areas of Europe.
Q: Can you relocate a machine without removing all the stock?
A: Yes, in most cases we can remove the carriers with the stock still in them saving you valuable time in empting and reloading the carousel.
Q: What does a Maintenance Contract cover and why do I need one?
A: You may need one to ensure that you do not fall foul of H&SE regulations as storage carousels are classed by them as lifting equipment. Our basic contract covers a minimum of 12 months, although 2,3,4 and 5 year contracts are available by negotiation. Within each 12 month period each machine will have two thorough checks carried out, normally six months apart with a detailed maintenance report sheet completed at each visit. Depending on the level of cover you opt for, machine failure callouts and parts may also be included.
Q: How long does a maintenance check take and can we still use the machine?
A: Without interruptions our engineers can normally check a machine over in about an hour. Given a few minutes notice most of the checks can be interrupted to allow your operators to use the machine to withdraw urgent stock.
Q: How long will it take to strip down/transport/rebuild my carousel?
Providing there are no peculiar contingencies it normally takes two days to strip and three days to rebuild most sizes of carousel. Transportation time will depending upon start and finish locations.
Q: Our parts are compact and heavy. What weight can a carousel carry?
The overall carrying capacity of carousels are usually 3, 6, 9 and 14 tonne with the lightest having a max shelf loading of 125kg UDL and the 14 tonne having a shelf loading of 400kg UDL
